Huge VBS for Agape Royal Ministries
By Dr. Mark DenisonAgape Royal Ministries, under the direction of Abraham Thomas, has just experienced an amazing week of Vacation Bible School in India. Over 700 children attended! In preparation for the big week, all of the partner churches joined together for an extended period of fasting and prayer, seeking God for an incredible outpouring of his Spirit and blessings.
The gatherings throughout the state of Kerala took place in April and May, which are the summer months for this area. This was the ninth consecutive year of VBS for the cooperating churches.
In response to the work, 71 children came to faith in Christ, with 17 already following through with baptism. As a part of the overall effort, classes were held for mentally challenged children, as well.
Agape Royal Ministries seeks the prayers of the Body of Christ, on behalf of the children and their families in Rayagada, Odisha and surrounding areas. Believers are also asked to pray for God to use these new converts to share the Good News, and to pray that they are fully discipled in their new faith.
