Seminary in India
By Dr. Mark Denison
One of our great ministry partners is Agape Royal, under the leadership of Abraham Thomas. The ministry exists for one underlying purpose. Her stated mission is “reaching the unreached of Asia.” With a focus on India, the ministry has planted hundreds of local churches, and is winning the masses for Christ one person at a time.
But Thomas is not content to make believers. For Agape Royal, it is all about making disciples. To that end, the ministry launched the Logos College of Theology in 2001. Initially, the school met in a rented building and had just eight students. Now, the seminary has grown to over 100 students from 12 different states throughout India. Their campus consists of five completed buildings, each used to train young leaders to reach the next generation.
Logos states emphatically, “Our students are dedicated to the Great Commission, seeking to reach all of India with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Logos needs our prayers as they seek a building permit for their next building. The master-planned facility will house an expanded library. There will be 12 apartments for the staff and a student lounge for times of fellowship.
The new building is going to be five stories. They are in need of financial supports, as they seek to raise $550,000.
Pray about offering your own generous support. Make gifts to Global Compassion. All gifts are tax-deductible. Mark your gift “Logos Apartments,” and send it to Global Compassion, 354 West Street, Suite 1, Valparaiso, Indiana, 46383.
